AMPHITHEATER ASSISTANT MANAGER (Recreation Facility Manager I)

Performs professional supervisory and administrative work managing the operations of Palm Beach County’s Amphitheater. Supervises staff and volunteers, manages rental operations and event planning, and ensures the quality of  facilities, programs, services, and events.  Provides guidance and oversight for amphitheater programs implemented by staff, ensuring event plans, logistics, and marketing align with departmental goals.  Responsibilities also include recruiting and recommending hiring, promotion, and termination, issuing disciplinary actions, resolving employee complaints and grievances, and ensuring all staff certifications remain current and valid.  Works with considerable independence under general administrative supervision, with performance reviewed through conferences, reports, and evaluation of results.
